Cafe The Sun Lives Here
Cafe breaks are essential during your ride
When your beloved car is also involved, choosing a shop becomes much more difficult.
You can park your bike safely and it's comfortable.
It's sure to be a special day with delicious food and drinks...
We would like to introduce you to some cyclist-friendly cafes recommended by our staff.
The third stop is at Sangenjaya.
Cafe The SUN LIVES HERE, a cheesecake specialty store founded in 2012
Based in Sangenjaya, they operate three stores: CAFE, FACTORY, and PARKSTORE.
This time we visited the cafe at the main store.
The staff, who love cheese, head to the store with excited hearts.
The shop is easily accessible by train, just a 5-minute walk from Sangenjaya Station, and is equipped with a bicycle rack, making it easy to drop in by bicycle.
The interior of the store, decorated with records and fresh flowers, has a very calm and cozy atmosphere.
There are counter seats by the windows, counter seats in the center of the restaurant, and sofa table seats, so you can stop by even if you're alone.
As seating is limited, we recommend making a reservation if you wish to dine inside the restaurant.
I was enchanted by the rows of sweets lined up in the showcase...
I can't decide which one to choose.
This is the one I would recommend to those who can't choose.
"Original Plate Style" - choose the sweets you like from the menu and create your own plate
We had the most popular item in the store, tiramisu, as the main dish, followed by carrot cake, milk pudding, and chiruk (three-layered bottled cheesecake)!
This tiramisu is a new sensation of "drinking tiramisu" that is enjoyed by pouring plenty of milk over it.
The cream made from mascarpone and cream cheese was rich and had a creamy texture that made it very delicious.
I also had coffee jelly, which is only available in summer.
First, eat it with a spoon...
After that, pour milk over it and drink it through a straw...
This coffee jelly is so exciting and can be enjoyed in so many different ways.
Even while enjoying your sweets, you can relax in peace as you can see the bicycle rack outside from inside the shop.
In addition to eat-in, we also offer take-out.
On a nice day, it would be nice to buy some delicious sweets here and eat them in a nearby park.
They also sell baked goods and store merchandise that would make great gifts or souvenirs.
Kamei, the company's executive vice president, wants to liven up the town through cheesecake with the concept of "making Sangenjaya the best place to kill time."
The bicycle racks were installed because some of the staff and customers who work there ride bicycles.
